FIRST CLASSIC CAR MEET FOR STAN

IN 2010 SUNDAY APRIL 18th

With Stan running again after much Winter work to the starter engine and having been invited to join The Star Inn between 10 am and Noon	General view of some of the cars in The front Stan a 1939 Standard Flying Eight Tourer sporting the new Club badge and Teenage Cancer Trust sign.
on Sunday 18^th April I saw this as a chance to meet and talk to other classic car enthusiasts in my area over coffee and bacon sandwiches. I travelled the 6.5 miles and soon found myself among over 20 other cars. Among the cars there were two Triumph roadsters, a 1200 Herald a rather smart Triumph Renown and a Spitfire.
Taking the opportunity I handed out invitations to them and some of the other car owners to join The New Forest Group’s Drive It Day on Sunday 25^th April meet and run. Whilst there I chatted to the landlady about the Group needing a regular meeting room. I was offered FREE the use of a room at The Star Inn This we will be considering shortly.
